Your lights will still operate normally when the switch is on. When the switch is off, the retractors will not move up or down. If you have the retractors down and the headlights on, turn on the new switch and the retractors will pop up. The first thing you'll need to do is go to Radio Shack, or any other place that sells relays and good switches. I picked up a roll of wire, a 12v standard relay and a switch that's got more style than a pimp named "Silky". O.K., it's not THAT stylish, but there wasn't anything else that looked as good as this one did. Find the wire that feeds the retractors coming off the fuse panel near the Left Front strut tower. On mine it was the fuse closest to the outside. Clip that wire and connect the ends to the normally open (load) side of the relay. (Don't pay any attention to that camera strap) [Click to enlarge]
